Title: Pynursla Administration Issues Traffic Advisory for Laitlyngkot–Lyngkyrdem Road Works

Information to the general public and all commuters that the following road closure schedules along the Laitlyngkot–Lyngkyrdem (Chainage Kms 24+00 – 37+00) through the diversion road via Laitlyngkot → Iew Mawiong → Umthli → Nongthymmai → Laitkynsew NH Point (Chainage 25+930) shall be effective from the 22nd of July, 2026 with the timings and restrictions mentioned below:
1. Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) only shall be permitted to ply throughout the day from Laitlyngkot to Lyngkyrdem. Night Closure (10:00 PM to 05:00 AM) for all vehicles shall continue to be enforced.
2. Movement of Medium/Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HMVs) on the above-noted diversion road is restricted. However, vehicles carrying essential commodities may be allowed subject to prior permission from the administration or competent authority.
In view of the ongoing monsoon season and the increased risk of landslides, rockfalls, and road instability, all commuters and members of the public are strongly advised to exercise utmost caution while travelling along this stretch. The public is further advised to avoid non-essential travel during periods of heavy rainfall, immediately after rainfall, and during night-time hours.
Emergency vehicles including Ambulances, Fire Service, and Police may be allowed during the closure period and may contact Pynursla Police Station at 9862251116, subject to the safety assessment by the on-site authorities
