Title: Chief Minister reviews progress of Meghalaya Houses across the country

Chief Minister Shri Conrad K. Sangma today chaired a virtual review meeting with the Hon’ble Minister in-charge of the General Administration Department (GAD) and senior officials of the Department to review the progress of ongoing and proposed infrastructure projects relating to Meghalaya Houses across the country.
The meeting comprehensively reviewed the status of ongoing construction and expansion works, the development of new and additional Meghalaya Houses, and the functioning of existing facilities. Discussions covered projects in Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Vellore and Kolkata, with a focus on improving infrastructure, service delivery and operational efficiency.
The Chief Minister reviewed the progress of each project, examined timelines for implementation, and directed officials to ensure timely execution while maintaining high standards of quality. He also emphasised the need for effective planning so that the facilities adequately cater to the increasing requirements of Meghalaya residents travelling outside the State
