The Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority, under the patronage and guidance of the Hon’ble Justice Revati Mohite Dere, Chief Justice, High Court of Meghalaya and Patron in Chief, Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority and supervision of Hon’ble Mr. Justice H. S. Thangkhiew, Judge, High Court of Meghalaya and Executive Chairman, Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority and Hon’ble Mr. Justice W. Diengdoh, Judge, High Court of Meghalaya and Chairperson, High Court Legal Services Committee has organised the Special Lok Adalat for Disposal of Cases under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 on the 18th of July, 2026 in the State of Meghalaya under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).

In the Special Lok Adalat for Cases under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, matters amounting to ₹ 11,31,050 /- (Rupees Eleven lakhs thirty one thousand and fifty) only were settled
