Title: Unidentified Newborn Girl Found Dead in North Garo Hills; Police Appeal for Information

Description:
According to the police, villagers from Rangsa spotted the body of the newborn floating in the river at around 9:00 A.M. and immediately informed Kharkutta Police Station. Police personnel subsequently recovered the body from the river.
The body was sent to the District Medical and Health Officer (DM&HO), North Garo Hills, for a post-mortem examination. Following the post-mortem examination, it was preserved in the mortuary of Mendipathar Community Health Centre (CHC) for identification.
Despite efforts by the police, the identities of the deceased newborn girl and her biological parents remain unknown
