The Director of Tourism has informed that the Government of Meghalaya, Tourism Department, has mandated an online data collection process for all accommodation providers (hotels, guesthouses, home stays, bed and breakfast establishments, etc.) in Meghalaya. The online process facilitates daily check-in and check-out data recording, including details such as visitor numbers, gender, state/country or origin and identity proof/visa/C-form uploads. Due to security concerns, all accommodation providers are to obtain No Objection Certificate from the District Administration and District Police
