Title: Internship, Apprenticeship Opportunities Open Doors for Meghalaya Youth

Description:
The PM Internship Scheme offers six- or nine-month internships to graduates aged 18–25 who are not in full-time employment. Opportunities are available across sectors including technology, manufacturing, infrastructure, healthcare, retail and agriculture. Selected interns receive ₹9,000 per month and a one-time joining grant of ₹6,000.

The National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) provides another route to workplace learning, with apprentices receiving a monthly stipend of ₹6,800 to ₹12,300 and nationally recognised certification.
Apprenticeships range from six to 36 months, depending on the trade or programme. Candidates can enrol from 14 years of age, with Class V as the minimum educational qualification; those seeking apprenticeships in hazardous industries must be at least 18.
