Title: Three Convicted under NDPS Case, Sentenced to Four Years Rigorous Imprisonment

On 15th September, 2026, the Hon’ble Court of Smti. E. Shabong, Spl. Judge (NDPS), East Khasi Hills, Shillong vide Judgment/Court Order dated 15/09/2026 convicted the accused persons, namely: (1). Shri Dinald Syndor, (2). Shri Kitboklang Thawbri and (3). Shri Ryngkatlang Kharbuli of Crl. (NDPS)/20/2024, arising out of Mawlai P.S. Case No. 16(02)2024 under Section 21(b)/29 NDPS Act.
All three convicted persons have been sentenced to 4 (four) years rigorous imprisonment with a fine of ₹ 40,000/- each for the offence under Section 21(b)/27(a)/29 NDPS Act. In default of payment of the fine, each shall undergo 3 (three) months rigorous imprisonment
