The revamped website was launched by Bah Paul Lyngdoh, Minister i/c Social Welfare Department, in the presence of Smti. Agatha K Sangma, Chairperson of the Meghalaya Commission for Protection of Child Rights and Smti. Iamonlang M Syiem, Chairperson, Meghalaya Women’s Commission. During the event, the Minister highlighted the recent surge of crimes against children and by children and highlighted the work done by the Police Department in cracking several cases related to child protection and also assured of the Government of Meghalaya’s commitment to ensure the protection of child rights in the State
