It is to be informed that on 24th June 2025 at 8:00 AM a telephonic information was received from the headman of 17th Mile Ri Bhoi District Meghalaya that one decomposed body was found in the field of one of the residents of the village. During enquiry it was learnt that the dead body was found lying near an electric pole with a downed electric conductor on the ground. Accordingly, the electrical board officials has been called to determine the cause of the wire falling. Inquest was conducted in the present of the medical officer and opined the caused of death is due to electrocution and the time of death is 1 to 2 months back
