During the meeting, the Hon’ble Health Minister expressed concern over the limited interventions currently in place to monitor and control the spread of HIV and STIs among Commercial Sex Workers. While a few are registered under the Manbha Foundation and regularly tested, Dr. Ampareen emphasized the need for more robust initiatives and monitoring systems to ensure consistent outreach and care for this vulnerable population. The meeting also focused on aligning HIV interventions with the upcoming Integrated Health Campaign, which aims to deliver a comprehensive package of health services, including HIV testing, TB screening, maternal health check-ups, NCD screening, and immunization, at the community level
