All domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) consumers in West Jaintia Hills District are hereby informed that Biometric Aadhaar Authentication (BAA) has been made mandatory for availing domestic LPG refills at the regulated Retail Selling Price (RSP) with applicable subsidy, with effect from 1st October, 2026.

LPG consumers who have not completed BAA may be blocked from availing further refills pending authentication. Their connections may be reactivated upon successful completion of BAA or upon declaration of willingness to avail refills at the applicable market-determined price without subsidy, in accordance with the prescribed procedures.

All domestic LPG consumers are therefore requested to cooperate with their respective LPG distributors and complete the required authentication in a timely manner to avoid inconvenience in obtaining future LPG refills.

All LPG distributors operating in West Jaintia Hills District are directed to disseminate this information widely and extend necessary assistance to consumers, particularly those residing in rural and remote areas.
