Addressing the gathering, Health Minister Shri. Wailadmiki Shylla highlighted the benefits of MHIS-PMJAY and urged the public to make full use of the healthcare coverage available under the scheme. He encouraged the community to enroll in advance rather than waiting until they require medical treatment.
The Minister also stressed the importance of linkage of Aadhaar, which is required for availing the benefits under the MHIS-PMJAY and advised the public to ensure that their Aadhaar details are properly linked. He urged the people not to wait until they fall sick, but to complete the necessary formalities beforehand so that healthcare support is readily available when needed.
The Minister called for greater awareness of MHIS-PMJAY among the public and encouraged community members to share information about the scheme, so that more can benefit from the healthcare coverage
