Title: East Garo Hills DEF Win Western Range Police T20 Tournament

The tournament, organised by the office of the DIG, Western Range, began on September 14 and featured eight teams representing different police formations across the region.
DIG Western Range J.F.K. Marak, IPS, congratulated the winners and appreciated all participating teams, noting that the tournament provided valuable experience and fostered teamwork and discipline among personnel.
SP (Traffic), Tura, Rupam R. Marak, MPS said the competition was also part of preparations for the Police Duty Meet scheduled to be held in Hyderabad in December. He said the tournament would help identify talented cricketers and potential leaders who could represent the Western Range at higher-level competitions.
The final was attended by senior police officials, including SP East Garo Hills Abraham T. Sangma, IPS along with officers and personnel from across the Western Range
