Title: PWD Invites Public Feedback on Draft Safeguard Documents for MLCIP

Description:
In a public notice, the department stated that the documents open for consultation include the Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF), Indigenous Peoples Planning Framework (IPPF), Resettlement Policy Framework (RPF), and the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP).
The draft documents have been made available for public review on the official website of the Meghalaya PWD. Hard copies can also be accessed at the offices of the Public Works Department and the Project Director of the Meghalaya Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation (MIDFC).
The department has invited stakeholders and members of the public to submit their comments, suggestions, and observations by July 23, 2026. Those unable to attend the consultation meetings may send their feedback via email to:
