Maharam Government Higher Secondary School, Mawkyrwat, Balang Mawlangwir Higher Secondary School, Mawlangwir and Rangthong Christian Higher Secondary School were crowned champions in their respective categories in the South West Khasi Hills District Level Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament 2026 organised by the Office of the District Sports Officer, South West Khasi Hills District, and concluded on Thursday July 2, 2026 at the Artificial Turf Ground, MDSA, Nonglang, South West Khasi Hills District.

The closing ceremony was graced by Smti. Aitinolin L. Mawlong, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of South West Khasi Hills District, as the Chief Guest, accompanied by D. Marweiñ, District Sports Officer, South West Khasi Hills District in the present of Teachers, students, and office bearers of the MDSA were also present to witness the successful conclusion of the tournament
