During September 2025, a total amount of ₹ 1.00 crore has been released for one crucial developmental project across Meghalaya. These strategic investments across infrastructure, agriculture, education, culture, and skill development sectors are expected to create significant socio-economic impact, improve quality of life, enhance connectivity, and unlock the immense potential of Meghalaya and the broader North Eastern Region. NEC also released funds to the tune of ₹ 13.04 Crore to various Central & Regional agencies including Universities, Cultural Organizations, NGOs, etc. to support events (non-projects) including various cultural festivals and academic events benefiting the entire North Eastern Region
