It may be mentioned that seventeen students from the Meghalaya STAR-30 coaching programme successfully secured admission in medical and allied health courses in the
year 2025-26, notably, the State quota topper also hails from the Meghalaya STAR-30 programme, underscoring the impact and success of the initiative in its very first year. Launched on National Science Day, 2024, the Meghalaya STAR-30 Programme is a free, residential coaching which is an initiative for promising students from the state who aspire to qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and pursue medical and allied health courses. The programme is designed especially for students from underprivileged and rural backgrounds, ensuring equitable access to quality medical entrance coaching
