Title: One-day painting competition under the theme “Seva Parv – Vision of Viksit Bharat Ke Rang Kala Ke Sang”

The North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Ministry of Culture, Government of India, in collaboration with the Department of Arts & Culture, Government of Meghalaya, organized a one-day painting competition under the theme “Seva Parv – Vision of Viksit Bharat Ke Rang Kala Ke Sang” (Culture and Tradition) on 26th September, 2025 at the premises of the State Central Library, I.G.P., Shillong.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation across three categories, with the following number of participants:
Professional – 10 participants
College – 10 participants
School – 21 participants
The competition concluded with a closing function at 3:00 PM, graced by the Director, Arts & Culture, Government of Meghalaya, as the Chief Guest. In her address, she expressed her appreciation to all participants, congratulated the winners, and encouraged the young talents to continue showcasing their creativity and actively take part in future programmes
