Title: Ground-Level Monitoring Strengthens Education in North Garo Hills

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Abhishek Saini, IAS, conducted on-site inspections of several schools in Resubelpara Block today, accompanied by officials from the District School Education Office (DSEO) and Sub-Divisional School Education Office (SDSEO), North Garo Hills.
The inspection covered Resubelpara Government Upper Primary School, RMSA School and Resubelpara Government Higher Secondary School. The visit focused on assessing academic progress, quality of teaching, and the status of school infrastructure.
A key highlight of the visit was the review of the Mid-Day Meal (MDM) scheme. Emphasizing the importance of nutrition in student development, the Deputy Commissioner personally inspected kitchen facilities and interacted with students during the meal. He also joined the children for lunch, gaining firsthand insight into the quality and adequacy of the food being served.
During the inspection, directions were issued to the Headmasters to maintain strict hygiene standards and ensure the provision of nutritious and safe meals to students
