Title: Two-Day Traffic Relaxation Announced on Shillong–Dawki Road, Restrictions to Resume from 3rd October 2025

Description:
The daily traffic restriction will be re-imposed as earlier with effect from the 03rd of October 2025 until further notice as per the usual timings mentioned below:
During Daytime: 11:30 AM – 04:00 PM
During Night-time: 09:00 PM – 04:00 AM
All commuters are advised to exercise due caution and drive safely while travelling along the said stretch of the Shillong – Dawki road. Night travel and travel during heavy rainfall are further discouraged as the area may remain sensitive despite no construction works/activities. Emergency health services will be facilitated during the closure periods and they may contact the Pynursla Police Station’s Phone No. 690 921 7154 for any co-ordination requirement with the construction company
