Online Applications for the 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) in the District Institute of Education and Training (DIETs)

Online Applications are invited from candidates who are citizens of India and residing in Meghalaya aspiring to become teachers at Elementary Level for admission to the 2-Year D.El.Ed Course for the academic session 2020-22 offered at the 7 (seven) District Institutes of Education and Training (D.I.E.Ts). Candidates who have passed Class XII or its equivalent examination from recognized Boards / Councils with 50% marks (5% relaxable for ST/SC/OBC/PWD) are eligible to apply. Candidates waiting for Class XII Results are also eligible to apply.
• The minimum Age limit is 18 years and maximum age is 27 years as on 01.01.2020 relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PWD
• Selection Procedure:
 Entrance Test.
 Counselling
 The selection procedure will be based on merit as per block quota

• Reservation Policy:
 Selection will be done in order of merit as per Meghalaya Govt. Reservation Policy for different communities of the state.
 5% of the seat will be reserved for Persons With Disabilities.
