This Order is necessitated following reports that miscreants are rampantly killing fishes along Wah Rynsha, Lawmei River, Lawmei village and the adjoining areas through haphazard use of chemicals & explosive substances including bleaching powder, ammonium-sulphate, pesticides, dynamite, fishing nets etc that can cause irreversible damage to the river and endanger the aquatic lives therein unless prevented. Any violation to this Order shall be prosecuted under Section 223 of the BNS. This order comes into force with immediate effect and remains in force till further orders
