The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District in an order issued on 1st May, 2021 has declared the entire building and campus of Eee Vee Nora Girls Hostel, Mawlyndop, Mawlai Mawroh as a Containment Zone so as to restrict unregulated entry and exit on the site. Any violation of the orders will entail prosecution under the penal provision of Disaster Management Act, 2005 and IPC
