As per the government direction, the LPG consumers who have not completed BAA will be blocked from availing further refills without completion of BAA process. Such connections may be reactivated upon successful completion of BAA or upon declaration of willingness to avail refills at the applicable market-determined price without subsidy, in accordance with the prescribed procedures.

In view of the above, all domestic LPG consumers are strongly advised to complete the biometric Aadhaar authentication at the earliest to avoid any inconvenience or disruption in the availability of LPG refills.

The general public, village authorities, traditional institutions, local representatives and other concerned stakeholders are requested to disseminate this information widely, particularly in rural and remote areas, to ensure that all eligible households are made aware of the requirements. LPG distributors and concerned Oil Marketing Companies are also requested to extend necessary assistance to consumers in completing the authentication process
