Smti A.L. Mawlong, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, South West Khasi Hills District, do hereby declare “DRY DAY” on the whole of South West Khasi Hills District on 2nd October, 2026, on account of Mahatma Gandhi’s Birthday.
All liquor shops/IMFL shops/Bars/Hotels/C.A. Bars/C.S. Shops and outstill stalls shall remain closed on the above-mentioned date. Violation of the above order will amount to punishment as per Excise Rules and Acts
