Description:
The second round of the Hearing Programme under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), 2026 has been completed in Ri Bhoi District as part of the ongoing exercise for verification and resolution of discrepancies identified during the electoral roll revision process.
The second round of hearings was scheduled in 38 Polling Stations across the District, and hearings have been successfully completed in all 38 Polling Stations.
The Hearing Programme was conducted with the active participation of electors and the coordinated efforts of the Election Officials, including the EROs, AEROs, BLOs and other officials engaged in the exercise. The hearings were conducted in accordance with the guidelines and schedule prescribed by the Election Commission of India
