The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairperson Smt Hema Nayak IAS, District Water Mission (JJM), West Khasi Hills District, and attended by members of the District Water Mission, officials from the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department, and other concerned departments.
During the meeting, a detailed review was undertaken on the progress of various components of the Jal Jeevan Mission. Discussions focused on the progress of Household Tap Water Connections, water supply coverage in schools and Anganwadi Centres (AWCs), implementation of Har Ghar Jal, the Sujalam Bharat App, Jal Seva Aankalan, District Technical Unit (DTU) Operationalization, District Improvement Plan, District Source Sustainability Committee, support activities, and Water Quality Testing
