Description:
The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) commenced on 30th June, 2026, in all the 313 polling parts across 5 Assembly Constituencies in West Jaintia Hills District.
As on 21st July, 2026, a total of 2,20,478 Enumeration Forms (EFs) have been distributed across the district, covering 100% of the registered electors under the SIR, 2026.
The District Election Officer has appealed to all eligible electors to actively participate in the Special Intensive Revision by cooperating with the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) during the enumeration process and by submitting their duly filled Enumeration Forms within the stipulated timeline to ensure their names are correctly included in the electoral roll.
To facilitate the smooth implementation of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), the District Election Office, West Jaintia Hills, has established a Help Desk at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner. Electors requiring any assistance or clarification regarding the SIR process may contact the Help Desk through the designated helpline numbers
