During the meeting, the representatives of the political parties were briefed in detail on the objectives, scope, timelines, operational modalities and stakeholder responsibilities relating to the Special Intensive Revision as communicated by the Election Commission of India through the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Meghalaya.

It was informed that East Khasi Hills District presently comprises 17 Assembly Constituencies covering a total of 1,021 Polling Stations
