Description:
This is to inform the public that, as per the weather forecast issued by the India Meteorological Department, the following conditions are expected in East Khasi Hills District from 27th April 2026 to 1st May 2026:
27th April 2026 – Thunderstorm/lightning with very heavy rainfall and gusty winds of 50–60 kmph.
28th April 2026 – Thunderstorm/lightning with very heavy rainfall and gusty winds of 40–50 kmph.
29th April 2026 – Thunderstorm/lightning with very heavy rainfall and gusty winds of 40–50 kmph.
30th April 2026 – Thunderstorm/lightning with very heavy rainfall and gusty winds of 40–50 kmph.
1st May 2026 – Thunderstorm/lightning and heavy rainfall with gusty winds of 40–50 kmph.
The public is advised to remain alert and take necessary precautions to ensure safety during this period
