in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, I, Shri Abhilash Baranwal, IAS, District Magistrate, Ri Bhoi District, hereby prohibit the movement of heavy vehicles carrying loads exceeding 9 (nine) tons through the identified stretches of roads falling under the jurisdiction of Ri Bhoi District;

The District Police, PWD (Roads), District Transport Officer, and all concerned departments are hereby directed to ensure strict enforcement of this Order and to initiate immediate legal action against any violators;

Any violation of this Order shall attract penal action under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023;

This Order shall come into force with immediate effect and shall remain in force until further orders
