Declaration of “Dry Day” in the areas of the district bordering Assam on 8th & 9th April, 2026, which will also include counting day i.e. 4th May, 2026, till the completion of the counting process on account of the General Election to the Assam Legislative Assembly, 2026.

Strict enforcement of this order shall be carried out through intensive checking, raids, and other preventive measures, including the date of re-poll, if any. All wineshops, bars, canteens, and outstills located along the inter-state border with Assam shall remain closed on these days
