Description:
The District Police and other law enforcement agencies are authorized to regulate movement of persons and vehicles proceeding towards West Garo Hills District and may prevent entry of persons suspected of intending to disturb public peace.
These restrictions shall not apply to Government officials on duty, Armed forces/paramilitary personnel, Police personnel, Emergency services, Persons travelling for essential purposes with valid justification.
Any violation of this order shall attract penal action under Section 223 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and other relevant provisions of law.
As the circumstances require immediate preventive action, this order is issued ex-parte and shall come into force with immediate effect and remain in force until further orders
