Description:
The Undersigned hereby strongly prohibits the operation of unauthorised collection of toll in Check Gate/Toll Gate and any form of forcible collection along the National Highways, State Highways and Major District Roads of East Khasi Hills.
Now, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 163 BNSS, I, Smti. R. M. Kurbah, IAS, District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong, do hereby pass this Order under Section 163 BNSS prohibiting collection of tolls within the entire district of East Khasi Hills.
Any violation thereof shall be strictly dealt with as per legal provisions.
In view of the urgency of the matter, this Order is passed ex-parte and shall come into force with immediate effect until further orders
