Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Abhishek Saini, IAS addressing the gathering said the program is being held in all CHCs, PHCs and sub centres of North Garo Hills with the aim to provide women and children access to quality care, health awareness and nutrition in the rural areas. On reducing maternal and child mortality rates, Dr Saini urged all women especially expecting mothers to opt for institutional deliveries in order to improve the overall healthcare services
