Title: Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027 to Provide National Platform for Youth of Garo Hills

The initiative seeks active participation from young people across the five districts of Garo Hills—West Garo Hills, East Garo Hills, South West Garo Hills, South Garo Hills and North Garo Hills. Youth between 15 and 29 years of age as on 17 August 2026 are eligible to participate in various tracks of the programme.
VBYLD 2027 has been structured around six major tracks: Viksit Bharat Challenge, Cultural Track, Design for Bharat, Hack for Social Cause, Youth Entrepreneurs Challenge and Youth Parliament. These tracks are designed to encourage youth participation in areas ranging from policy ideas and innovation to culture, technology, entrepreneurship and democratic engagement.
The Viksit Bharat Challenge, the flagship track, will provide young people an opportunity to develop and present innovative ideas on developmental priorities. The selection process will progress through an online Viksit Bharat Quiz, a 500-word Essay Challenge, district-level presentations, the State VBYLD and ultimately the Viksit Bharat National Dialogue in New Delhi. The top two presenters from each district will qualify for the State edition.
For the Cultural Track, young people can participate in Folk Dance, Folk Song, Painting, Declamation and Poetry Writing. The track will progress from the district level to the State and National levels, providing a platform to showcase and promote India's diverse cultural heritage.
The Viksit Bharat Quiz is scheduled from 17 August to 30 September 2026, followed by the Essay Challenge from 5 to 19 October 2026. District Championships are scheduled from 10 to 16 November 2026, while the State VBYLD will be held between 17 November and 7 December 2026. The National VBYLD will culminate in New Delhi from 10 to 12 January 2027.
All registrations and digital components of VBYLD 2027 will be conducted through the MY Bharat portal. Youth already registered on the portal do not need to register again
