Title: Capacity Building and Skill Development on Post Harvest Management of Buckwheat

The programme was organized with the objective to strengthen the knowledge and skills of farmers and other stakeholders in the proper handling, management and utilization of buckwheat after harvest. A total of 116 participants, including farmers and other stakeholders attended the programme.
The programme was chaired by Smti. B. Kharbamon, Subject Matter Specialist (Horticulture), KVK Jaintia Hills, who welcome the participants and resource persons.
In her keynote, Dr. A. Dympep, Subject Matter Specialist (Agricultural Extension), KVK Jaintia Hills, encouraged the farmers to actively participate in the technical sessions and make the best use of the knowledge and information shared by the resource persons from different organizations. She emphasized the importance of acquiring appropriate technical knowledge to improve farm practices, reducing post-harvest losses and enhancing the value of agricultural produce
