Title: Conviction in POCSO Case in East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat: Accused Sentenced to 22 Years' Rigorous Imprisonment

Description:
After completion of the trial, the Hon'ble Court of Smt. B. Khriam, Special Judge (POCSO), East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat found Shri Jimi Bareh guilty and convicted him under Section 376(2)(f) IPC read with Sections 5(j)(ii)/5(n)/6 of the POCSO Act, 2012. The Hon'ble Court sentenced him to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) for 22 (twenty-two) years with a fine of ₹50,000 (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) vide Order dated 21.07.2026
