Title: Accountant General’s Office Holds Pension Adalat in Jowai

The initiative was aimed at addressing long-pending pension cases pertaining to State Government offices under West Jaintia Hills and East Jaintia Hills districts and facilitating their early settlement.
In his opening remarks, Shri Rupak Saha, Senior Deputy Accountant General, stated that the Pension Adalat was a proactive step towards ensuring timely resolution of pension-related grievances and improving pension administration in the State. He also stressed the need for greater awareness among Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) regarding the submission of pension cases online in complete form through the ‘e-Pension Portal’, which was launched by the office in January 2026.
The event was attended by concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs), pensioners, and officials responsible for processing pension cases from various State Government departments
