Title: Meghalaya Legislators Attend National Leadership Programme for State Lawmakers in Bengaluru

Seven legislators from Meghalaya participated in the State Legislators Leadership Programme held from May 10–12, 2026 at Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, jointly organised by Azim Premji University and PRS Legislative Research. The residential leadership programme was designed to strengthen the capacities of state legislators through focused discussions on governance, public policy, leadership, and emerging developmental challenges.
The Meghalaya legislators who participated in the programme were:
1.) Hon’ble Deputy Speaker Shri Limison D. Sangma, MLA, Raksamgre
2.) Shri Mayralborn Syiem, MLA, Nongpoh
3.) Dr. Celestine Lyngdoh, MLA, Umsning
4.) Shri Ronnie V. Lyngdoh, MLA, Mylliem
5.) Shri Gabriel Wahlang, MLA, Nongstoin
6.) Shri Ollan Sing Suin, MLA, Mawsynram
7.) Shri Matthew Beyondstar Kurbah, MLA, Mawphlang
