Addressing the gathering, Education Minister, Shri Lahkmen Rymbui highlighted the importance of such platforms for the holistic development of students. He emphasized that events like Graduate Congress play a vital role in nurturing young minds and providing opportunities for students to showcase their talents and abilities.

The Minister noted that day two of the Congress, which focused on cultural presentations, is particularly significant as it celebrates the rich cultural identity and traditional practices of the Northeast region. He stated that such initiatives not only preserve cultural heritage but also promote mutual respect, unity, and understanding among diverse communities.

Encouraging the students, the Minister urged them to actively participate in such programs, stressing that these platforms help build confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of unity in diversity.
