Youths and job seekers in huge turnout attended the NIELIT Job Fair 2026 at the Soso Tham Auditorium, where local talent met recruiters from over 18 prominent companies and organizations. Organized by the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Shillong in collaboration with the Office of the Divisional Employment Exchange, Shillong the event connected graduates, diploma holders, and early-career professionals from the East Khasi Hills and other districts with immediate employment opportunities and career guidance. “The turnout exceeded expectations and highlights the strong pool of skilled youth in the region,” said spokesperson of NIELIT Shillong. “Events like this bridge the gap between employers and job seekers, accelerate placements, and stimulate local employment growth.
