Notification on the Declaration of 51 Hectares of Land as Phase-III Extension of Nongumiang Reserve Forest in West Khasi Hills

The Governor of Meghalaya is pleased to declare the land described in the Schedule and depicted in the map annexed thereto, which has been handed over to the Forest Department by the User Agency viz. M/s Indradhanush Gas Grid Limited essentially for Compensatory Afforestation in lieu of forest land diverted under the Van (Sanrakshan Evam Samvardhan) Adhiniyam, 1980 with Final Approval (Stage-II) of Central Government vide letter F.No.3-MG A 022/2022-SHI/197-98 dated 21-04-2025, herein as Phase-III extension of Nongumiang Reserve Forest with effect from the date of publication of this Notification in the Official Gazette of Meghalaya
