In a major breakthrough, Meghalaya Police have arrested one accused person namely Shri Irshad @ Rumi (32 yrs) of Mewat, Haryana from Tauru, Haryana with the assistance of Haryana Police. The accused is a member of a criminal gang from Mewat which is involved in ATM theft cases in East Khasi Hills, Ri-Bhoi, East Jaintia Hills and North Garo Hills. Other identified accused members have been arrested in Umiam PS Case No. 20(04)2026 U/S 305(a)/331(4)/324(5)/61(2)(b)/3(5) BNS
