Shri Abhilash Baranwal, IAS, District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under Section 163 BNSS do hereby declare No-Drone Zone w.e.f. 7th–8th September, 2026 with a radius of 3 (three) kilometres from the venue of the function, i.e. State Central Library, Shillong, and place of stay, i.e. Lok Bhavan, Shillong.

In view of the urgency of the matter, this order has been made ex-parte and shall come into force with immediate effect and remain in force for a period w.e.f. 7th–8th September, 2026
