The meeting was chaired by Shri. Abhilash Baranwal, IAS, District Election Officer, East Khasi Hills in the presence of Smti. R.M. Kurbah, IAS, Electoral Roll Observer for East Khasi Hills District, the Electoral Registration Officers and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers of all the Assembly Constituencies and representatives from the registered national and state parties.

A detailed presentation on the progress of Special Intensive Revision was presented by Shri. R. Wahlang, Deputy District Election Officer, East Khasi Fills District. The issues and challenges were discussed at length with the representatives of the political parties.

Kurbah, Electoral Roll Observer for East Khasi Hills District in her address expressed gratitude to the election machinery of East Khasi Hills District for the tireless effort in preparing the Draft Electoral Rolls and ensuring that the whole process of special intensive Revision is carried out with transparency and close coordination with the political parties
