Description:
The curfew shall remain in force from 6:00 A.M. of 19th March 2026 until 6:00 A.M. of 20th March 2026, unless withdrawn earlier. During the period of curfew, no person shall move outside their residence within the limits of West Garo Hills District.
However, there will be a relaxation from 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. on 19th March, 2026 to facilitate public movement and regular activities.
During the relaxation period, all Educational Institutions, Offices, Banks and other establishments shall function normally.
All law enforcement agencies, Executive Magistrates and police officers are directed to strictly enforce this order and take necessary action against violators.
Any violation shall attract penal action under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and other relevant provisions of law
