Prohibitory order under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, thereby prohibiting the wanton destruction of fish and other aquatic life in the Kampil River at Dokragre village under Samanda C&RD Block by using explosives, detonators or any other explosive substances, use of poisonous, toxic, obnoxious or noxious substances or any other method or activity intended to cause wanton destruction of fish and other aquatic life or likely to cause danger to human life, public safety or the environment.

The order issued by the District Magistrate has directed all persons, residents, fishermen and other concerned individuals to strictly comply with the prohibitory order. The concerned authorities, including the police and other enforcement agencies, have been directed to take necessary action against any person found violating the order
