During the course of the hearing programme, it was found that in certain Polling Stations there are some discrepancies and cases which require further verification. In view of the same, and to ensure that all eligible cases are duly examined and disposed of in accordance with the guidelines of the Election Commission of India, it has become necessary to reschedule the Hearing Programme in the concerned Polling Stations.

Accordingly, the Hearing Programme for the Assembly Constituency of the District has been rescheduled to facilitate further verification and hearing of the cases.

The District Election Office has reiterated that the 2nd Round of Hearing programme is being undertaken to ensure proper verification, transparency and due opportunity to all concerned electors before finalisation of the Electoral Roll
