Description:
The District Election Officer, East Khasi Hills District, Shri. Abhilash Baranwal, IAS, who is also the Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills District, Shillong accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioners, Shri. Ronnieson Wahlang, MCS, Shri. Shanborlang Warjri, MCS, and other officials, conducted an inspection and met with BLO Supervisors and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) on July 14, 2026, to review the progress of the House-to-House Enumeration phase under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 of the Electoral Roll.
The inspection was aimed at assessing the implementation of the exercise at the field level and ensuring its timely completion
